MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – As part of West Virginia University's partnership with IMG College, the WVU baseball game against Virginia Tech on Wednesday, May 9, will be televised regionally on AT&T SportsNet.
The Mountaineer baseball broadcast team of
Dan Zangrilli and Ernie Galusky will call the action from Monongalia County Ballpark. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.

Randy Mazey said. "This is great exposure for both programs and the game of college baseball. We look forward to the opportunity to showcase Monongalia County Ballpark and our program to everyone watching at home."
West Virginia and Virginia Tech meet for the 89th time and the fifth consecutive season next Wednesday. The Mountaineers have won two in a row and eight of the last 12 games between the former Southern Conference and Big East rivals.
The contest marks the first time a WVU baseball game at Monongalia County Ballpark has aired on AT&T SportsNet.
This game is part of the Wild & Wonderful Sports programming on AT&T SportsNet, demonstrating the network's strong commitment to providing meaningful and superior collegiate sports coverage to its viewers.
The game also will be streamed live on
WVUsports.com/Watch for free outside of the
AT&T SportsNet viewing footprint. The stream will be blacked out inside the viewing footprint.
The game is a Gold Rush, and all fans attending the game are encouraged to wear gold. Tickets for the game also are available at

This weekend, West Virginia travels to Lawrence, Kansas, for a three-game Big 12 series against the Kansas Jayhawks from May 4-6. First pitch of Friday's opener is at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT, while Saturday's contest begins at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT. Sunday's finale is set for 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT.
